Despite everyone's warnings - we are going to go for the marble. I am willing to baby it for my love of the look, and have quartz on the perimeter for more heavy duty kitchen activities :)Jennifer Opsahlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03470632120877499280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4057460605407101148.post-66388478295628059022014-07-16T20:06:41.696-07:002014-07-16T20:06:41.696-07:00As far as I know they are both super durable! As far as I know they are both super durable!Jennifer Opsahlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03470632120877499280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4057460605407101148.post-14709508245640057482014-07-16T20:06:26.041-07:002014-07-16T20:06:26.041-07:00Yes! Would love to see a pic of a sample if you get one! We are going to just go for it and put the real marble in - but I would still love to keep this in mind for another house or room!Jennifer Opsahlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03470632120877499280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4057460605407101148.post-31524614934453433862014-07-16T15:02:09.492-07:002014-07-16T15:02:09.492-07:00Just thought I would let you know I am from Edmont...Just thought I would let you know I am from Edmonton, Alberta and the countertop company I have gotten quotes from has gotten samples of the new Calacatta Nuvo from caesarstone, it may not be as far as 2015!Alainanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4057460605407101148.post-38596429674246458772014-03-27T15:42:08.669-07:002014-03-27T15:42:08.669-07:00Never heard of either! They're both very pretty, though.Mindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07247379600555185331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4057460605407101148.post-89390256902692276472014-03-27T08:21:11.517-07:002014-03-27T08:21:11.517-07:00I wish I had a a solution for you. I am addicted to HGTV (many of the shows are in Canada, but when I mention it to Canadians they have no idea what I'm talking about!) and recently saw a solid white Quartz island with a waterfall edge. That waterfall edge made it a showstopper (and the countertops were not the solid white Quartz but I don't remember what they were). I really wouldn't get marble. My cousin has a marble dining table and even that has to be babied beyond belief.Gigihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06012673666970875674noreply@blogger.com
